Seaside inspired colour filled abstract painting in turquoise and teal. From my "Colour Fields and Dusk" Series.
"Dusk at Sea"
Painted in a frantic burst of inspiration & energy while listening to "Self Control" on repeat after a walk along Rottingdean Beach 😄. This little painting is a must-see IRL because it packs a colour punch that can’t be fully captured in a photo.

The "Colour Fields and Dusk" series is an exploration of colour through abstraction: the interplay of translucency and opacity; the wonderful ways colour interacts; how colour conveys meaning and influences emotions. This series was further inspired by my taking up running along the seafront at sunset in summer. .
"Dusk at Sea" is a signature piece in my small collection for Artists Open Houses this year (May 2025).
NOTE: As this is a signature piece for AOH 2025, this painting will be posted out to you on 28th May (when Artists Open Houses Brighton finishes). Expected UK delivery is 29/30th May (international delivery date will depend on location). However, if you need it sooner, I can certainly arrange that, so please do get in touch.
