"Chasing Clouds"

An apt title considering how I feel about my continuing exploration of colour. This one has to be seen in person because there are many subtleties, colour shifts and details that can't be captured in photos or videos.

The "Colour Fields and Dusk" series is an exploration of colour through abstraction: the interplay of translucency and opacity; the wonderful ways colour interacts; how colour conveys meaning and influences emotions. This series was further inspired by my taking up running along the seafront at sunset in summer. .

"Chasing Clouds" is a signature piece in my small collection for Artists Open Houses this year (May 2025).
