Vibrant colourful painting with Brighton's West Pier in silhouette as it slowly disappears into the sea - just as I experience it at dusk on my run down Hove promenade towards Brighton.

In vibrant shimmering colours to denote Brighton's happy, joyful and inclusive culture. A love letter to my city in colour!

Roughly 17 1/4 x 13 1/2 inches framed in Obeche wood, mixed media on linen canvas.

  • Title: "Brighton"
  • Size: 12 x 16 inches
  • Framed size: 13.5 x 17.25 inches
  • Medium: Acrylic
  • Substrate: Linen Canvas
  • Signed on the back
  • Framed in natural Obeche wood

This painting is a part of my new "Colour Fields and Dusk" series - an exploration of colour through abstraction: the interplay of translucency and opacity; the wonderful ways colour interacts; how colour conveys meaning and influences emotions.

    Amazing piece of Painting!

Chanchala is such a great artist and we love these abstract arts of her . Her themes for the paintings are what makes her arts unique and profoundly aesthetic.

I bought this as gift for my partner for her birthday and Chanchala went an extra mile to make sure to make my partner's birthday special by adding notes and making it personal. Thank you so much!!!
